Manchester United returned to their slump after being hit by VAR and awarded a late penalty, losing 1-2 to West Ham in English Premier League Football.

Just two minutes in, Manchester United almost took the lead when West Ham mishandled the ball in their own half. Bruno Fernandes dribbled forward before cutting inside for Alejandro Garnacho to swung a right-footed shot that hit the crossbar.UFABET 

In the 9th minute, the Red Devils had another golden opportunity when Hoylund passed to Bruno, who flicked it to Garnacho, who broke into the penalty area on the left and turned to spin with his right foot, but the ball went wide of the far post.

The away team continued to attack on almost one side. In the 13th minute, Garnacho broke through on the left and crossed to the middle for Rasmus Hojlund to squeeze past West Ham’s defenders and poke in front of the goal, but Lukasz Fabianski was able to close the angle and block. In the continuing play, Casemiro crossed for Bruno to break through from behind and head the ball alone, but he was unable to control the direction, causing the ball to go over the bar.

West Ham responded in the 28th minute.

The visitors had another big chance in the 32nd minute when Bruno crossed from his own half to Diogo Dalot who broke away and tapped the ball past Fabianski who was out wide but was forced to take a quick shot and struggled to control the ball, which went over the bar.

In the 40th minute, Man Utd almost took the lead again. Eriksen took a corner kick and Edson Alvarez headed the ball wrong and hit the crossbar.

United almost took the lead again in the 45th minute when Eriksen whipped in a free kick from the left wing for Casemiro to head home but Fabianski produced an incredible one-handed save.

The first half ended with both teams still tied 0-0.

Back in the second half, West Ham made three changes at once, sending in Crysencio Summerville, Thomas Soucek and Jean-Clerk Todibo to replace Carlos Soler, Lucas Paqueta and Konstantinos Mavropanos, with the latter two receiving yellow cards.

In the 55th minute, it was West Ham’s chance. Mikhail Antonio spun with his right foot in front of the penalty area, but the ball was off target.

Two minutes later, United had a chance when Rasmus Hojlund got a chance to shoot with his left foot from about 25 yards out, but Fabianski had to dive and push it behind.

Finally, the first goal of the game came in the 74th minute and it was West Ham’s goal when the Red Devils tried to set up the game from their own half and Garnacho passed it away. Finally, Bowen broke through on the right wing and passed to the middle for substitute Danny Ings to shoot but missed the angle, but there was still Crysencio Summerville who slipped in to poke at the far post from close range into the goal. The Hammers led 1-0.

But in the 81st minute.

Man Utd equalized 1-1. Amad threw deep into the penalty area on the left side. Dalot headed back to the center for Joshua Zirkze to head as if trying to score a goal. But it reached Casemiro who headed from close range into the net.

In the 83rd minute, the Red Devils had another injury. When Noussair Mazraoui suffered a serious knee injury and could not continue playing. So Victor Lindelof had to be sent in to replace him.

West Ham were awarded a penalty after a VAR review. With Matthijs de Ligt being adjudged to have fouled Danny Ings. With plenty of time spent looking at the pitchside monitor and protests from the visitors. Before Jarrod Bowen converted in the 92nd minute. 

Then, in the 12 minutes of injury time, the Red Devils were unable to get a goal back. The game ended with West Ham defeating Man Utd 2-1.
